Dear Prospective Sponsor,
A.B.C. Lady Hawks 9U, is a Girls 9 year old and under AAU basketball team that is part of the Arkansas Hawks organization. Our program is committed to teaching basketball skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, with 2 simple goals for our players; 1. Learn at an early age that by dedication and hard work they can achieve any goal they set for themselves. 2. Help them develop the skills and confidence to earn a full college basketball scholarship. To achieve these goals the players, parents and coaches have committed several hours per week with 3 practice and training sessions each week.
I founded and have been funding the A.B.C. Lady Hawks Basketball Program since 2018 through my business and support from friends and family. The Program has been responsible for all team expenditures during the past, current and coming seasons.
This year the team will compete in several tournaments throughout central Arkansas with an eye to others outside of the state. Our plan is to defray some of the cost of training (we hire a former All American NBA player and current WNBA player), equipment, uniforms, transportation, insurance, and tournament fees by obtaining sponsors. Our program is coached and organized completely by volunteers. All sponsors funds are used strictly for the girls to minimize the financial burden on their families.
A.B.C. Lady Hawks 9U is looking for both individual and corporate sponsors who are interested in supporting our life changing program. Although we are based in Southwest Little Rock, our players come from communities throughout central Arkansas. Beginning in 2020, the program will begin financing initiatives that actively engage the parents and community through merchandise sales (branded Lady Hawks cupcakes, ice cream, and t-shirts) and community minded sponsors, like you.

ABOUT THE LADY HAWKS TEAM
Mission:
To help each player develop a foundation that contributes to a mentally and physically strong, confident and well rounded young person.

For each player to develop the character and skills needed to go to a good college on a full basketball scholarship and be successful in school and in life.

The A.B.C. Lady Hawks is a team like no other 9 and under teams. A part of the Arkansas Hawks Organization founded by Bill Ingram, Director of The Real Deal Basketball Tournaments and supported by NBA Super Star Joe Johnson. Our players, parents and coaching staff commit hundreds of hours a month directly through the 3 day a week practices and indirectly by fundraising with initiatives like selling raffle tickets and this year branded Lady Hawks supporter t-shirts, cup cakes and ice cream from their A.B.C. Lady Hawks Program Tent and booth and seeking financial support from companies and individuals like you.
We treat our program and it’s initiatives as valuable teaching moments to develop the skills of the sport and life skills for their everyday experiences. The Lady Hawks Program emphasizes the value of being physically and mentally strong and seeking success through individual development combined with teamwork. Our focus on these simple principles has helped us to achieve milestones of completing the 2019 season with an undefeated record.
We wish to continue this success in helping to build smart, strong, and confident young people in our 2020 season. Game attendance ranges from 40 to 70 on regular weekday games to hundreds on weekend and tournament games. Each game is is highly interactive, and through your sponsorship you will engage directly with attendees throughout the game through the benefits presented by our sponsorship packages.
